Social media management · Australia & United States
You don't win business on defence.
Social Sense is a social media agency built on one position: marketing is part of the business, so it should be run like one. Strategy first. Content second. Leads over likes.
The difference
Most agencies start with content. We start with the business.
Before a single post is planned, we get across how your business actually makes money. The promotions worth running. The feel of the venue. The clients worth winning. Marketing built on that thinking behaves differently, because it has a job to do.
Social Sense works in the overlap
Purpose before posting
Every engagement opens with structured discovery into why the business exists and what it's building. Everything downstream is built on the answer.
Leads, not likes
Views are a means, not a result. We plan, produce and measure content against the outcomes that pay: enquiries, bookings and customers.
Small by design
You deal directly with the people doing the work. No account managers passing messages along, no juniors learning on your brand.
How an engagement runs
Four phases. One direction.
Discovery
We draw out the story of the business in the owner's own words: why it started, what it stands for, where it's going.
Strategy
Discovery becomes a written foundation. Purpose, guiding principles and content pillars, so every post can be traced back to a reason.
Production
Content starts in week one. Shot, edited and published on a calendar you can see, without chasing anyone for it.
Performance
Reviewed against the numbers that matter to a business: enquiries, bookings and customers won. Then refined, and run again.
An Australian agency working on both sides of the Pacific. Time zones between our team mean the content engine rarely sits idle.
Put your brand on the front foot.
A conversation costs nothing and usually clarifies plenty.
Start a conversationOur approach
Purpose is the strategy.
Most agency briefs open with target audience and budget. Ours opens with a harder question: why does this business exist, and why should anyone care? The answer becomes the foundation everything else is built on.
DiscoveryWeek one onwards
A structured discovery process draws out the story of the business: why it started, what it stands for, what it refuses to do. Owners answer in their own words and their own time. No workshops, no whiteboards, no jargon. The best material always comes from the person who built the thing.
FoundationThe written spine
Discovery becomes a written foundation: a clear statement of purpose, the principles the business runs on, and the content pillars that follow from them. It's reviewed and approved by you before it drives anything. From that point, every caption and campaign can be traced back to a reason.
ProductionNo waiting around
Content starts in week one. We don't leave your channels quiet while strategy is written; foundation content keeps the presence consistent from day one. Once the foundation is approved, the strategic phase begins and the content starts carrying a message rather than filling a grid.
PerformanceMeasured like a business
Every month the work is reviewed against commercial outcomes, then the plan adjusts. What generated enquiries gets more budget and more airtime. What didn't gets retired without sentiment. Marketing improves the same way a business does: by paying attention to what actually works.
Measurement
What we count, and what we don't chase.
Plenty of agencies report big reach numbers to distract from small commercial ones. We hold ourselves to the second column of your P&L, not the first page of a vanity report.
Counted
- Enquiries and messages that become conversations
- Bookings, covers and appointments
- Calls and quote requests
- Repeat custom and retention
- Reviews won, and reviews answered well
Not chased
- Follower counts for their own sake
- Likes without intent behind them
- Reach that never walks through the door
- Trends that don't fit the brand

Everything social, under one roof.
Strategy, production, publishing and paid, delivered by one team that knows your business. No handoffs between departments, no gaps for things to fall through.
Social media management
Strategy, planning, publishing and community management across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. A content calendar your team can see at any time, and a schedule that never slips.
Content production
Shoots, editing and native short-form video built around how your business actually operates. Cinematic when the moment calls for it, raw and immediate when that's what performs.
Brand & identity
Logo, visual identity and the design system your content lives inside, so everything you publish is recognisably yours at a glance.
Reputation management
Review monitoring and considered responses in your voice. Public feedback, handled well, becomes one of the strongest assets a local business owns.
Paid advertising
Meta campaigns planned against lead targets, run on your own ad account, and reported in plain language. You always own the account, the data and the results.
Email & SMS
Owned channels that turn a following into a database, and a database into repeat business. The audience you rent on social becomes one you keep.
Engagement tiers
Three tiers. Priced for the business in front of us.
Establish
A consistent, professional presence, handled properly. Content planned, produced and published every week so the owner can get back to running the business.
Amplify
The growth tier. More production, more formats and more channels, with strategy reviews that keep the work pointed at enquiries rather than applause.
Dominate
Full-scale. High-end production, paid campaigns, reputation and owned channels working together to make you the obvious choice in your market.
No rate card, on purpose.
Every proposal is priced from two things: what the work costs to deliver well, and what the outcome is worth to your business. Tiers are a starting point, not a cage. Once you've chosen one, components are added or removed until the package fits the business exactly.
Industries
Specialists where it counts.
Small business is our specialty. Within it, two verticals get most of our hours, and the depth shows in the work.
Home ground
Hospitality
Venues, bars, restaurants and cafés. We think about the promotions worth running, the feel of the room and how the venue operates before we think about content. The result is marketing that fills tables, not just feeds.
- Promotion planning built around quiet nights, launches and the events calendar, not the other way around
- Venue-native video that captures the room the way a guest experiences it
- Menu, event and function marketing timed to when decisions actually get made
- Review responses written in the venue's voice, because replies are read by future guests, not just past ones
High-value clients
Professional services
Mortgage broking, finance and recruitment. In these industries a single new client can be worth thousands, so the marketing is built and measured accordingly: authority first, enquiries always, in a voice credible enough for a regulated industry.
- Authority content that puts the person behind the business forward, because people hire people
- Lead-focused campaigns where one conversion covers the marketing many times over
- LinkedIn and Instagram working together, professional reach and personal trust
- Email nurture so the enquiry you earned in March still converts in September
Outside those two?
The method holds. Purpose-first discovery works in any industry, because every good business has a reason it exists. If you run a small business that's serious about growing, we should talk.
About
A small agency, on purpose.
Social Sense was built on the belief that small businesses deserve the thinking usually reserved for the biggest retainers. Staying small is how we deliver it: clients deal directly with the people responsible for their work, every time.
Ron is an entrepreneur and operator across multiple businesses, and it shapes everything about how Social Sense works. He leads strategy with every client, translating how a business grows into how it should market, and asking the commercial questions most agencies never think to ask.
If you work with Social Sense, Ron is the first person you'll speak to, and he stays in the room.
Louis runs creative direction and day-to-day delivery: production, planning, publishing and the standard every piece of content has to meet before it goes anywhere near your audience.
He is the reason the calendar never slips and the work never looks templated.
Behind them
A production team of editors and support staff keeps the engine running six days a week, across time zones. Content gets shot in Australia during your day and edited while you sleep.
Australian roots, US presence. We work with clients on both sides of the Pacific and run the business across both time zones.
